Drone Design and Fly Camp
Ready, Set, Lift Off!
Are you ready to design, build, and fly your own drone? Join Flight Experience For Youth’s new STEM Lab for an intensive, hands-on engineering adventure designed for teens!
🎯 What You Will Do
Design the Structural Parts: Use a CAD program to create the basic structure of the drone and then 3D print/Laser Cut the parts.
Fabricate the Parts: Assemble a functioning quadcopter with our electronics
Earn a Certificate in Drone Flight Safety: Review FAA regulations and take the TRUST test.
Practice Safe Flying: Become familiar with how your drone operates.
Compete & Race: Test your creation in an obstacle course challenge
📅 Camp Details
Who: Teens aged 13–17 (No experience required!)
When: Friday September 11th 4:00-7:00 pm (pizza included)
Saturday September 12th 8:00 am -4:00 pm (bring your own lunch but snacks will be available)
Sunday September 13th 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (bring your own lunch but snacks will be available)Where: Meet at the Sugarbush Airport Tower 2355 Airport Road Warren, VT
